Vrishchika Farm Stay ("we", "us", "our") is a private farm-stay property located off Kanakapura Road, Bangalore South, Karnataka, India. We operate the website www.vrishchika.in and provide online booking services for overnight and event stays at our property.

We collect the following personal information when you make a booking:

• Identity data — full name, government ID type and document (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving Licence or Voter ID).
• Contact data — email address and mobile number.
• Booking data — check-in/check-out dates, number of guests, package selected, and payment reference numbers.
• Payment data — transaction identifiers from Razorpay. We do not store card numbers or CVVs; these are handled exclusively by Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant platform.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, and page-visit data collected automatically via standard web logs and analytics.

We use your personal data to:

• Confirm and manage your booking.
• Send booking confirmations, smart-lock access codes, and pre-arrival information via email or WhatsApp.
• Process payments and issue refunds where applicable.
• Comply with legal obligations (including guest-register requirements under Karnataka Police and tourism regulations).
• Improve our website and services using aggregated, anonymised analytics.
• Contact you about important changes to your booking or our policies.

• Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. — our payment gateway, for processing transactions securely.
• MSG91 / ZeptoMail — our messaging and email service providers, for sending booking confirmations.
• Google Firebase (Google LLC) — our cloud database and authentication provider.
• Law enforcement or regulatory authorities — when required by Indian law.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their marketing purposes.

We retain guest records, including government ID copies, for a minimum of 3 years after your stay, as required by applicable hospitality and tax regulations in India. Payment records are retained for 7 years for accounting compliance. You may request deletion of non-mandatory data by contacting us at vrishchika1986@gmail.com.

All data is stored on Google Firebase servers with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS/HTTPS). Government ID files are stored in Firebase Storage with restricted access — only authorised property staff can view them. Smart-lock access codes are time-limited to your booking window.

Our website uses minimal cookies strictly necessary for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Analytics data, if any, is aggregated and anonymised.

Under applicable Indian data protection law, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of data we are not legally required to retain.
• Withdraw consent for non-essential communications at any time.
